Eggnog: A real Christmas classic
Like every year, when Christmas is
approaching FLORIS opens its treasure chest and reveals one of our chef’s
secret recipes.
Punch it!
Ingredients for 4 glasses:
400 milliliters of milk
100 milliliters of whipped cream
200 milliliters eggnog
5 tbsp brown rum
2 tbsp of maple syrup
1 pinch of nutmeg
1 pinch of anise
1 squeeze of lemon
Optionally refine some cinnamon
Preparation:
Heat milk with whipped cream, eggnog, brown rum and syrup, stirring constantly. Then season with a pinch of nutmeg and anise. For those, who likes it fruity, add a splash of lemon. If you like it spicy, add cinnamon. The eggnog tastes best served hot.
